I wanted to like this book more than I did but I finished and felt kind of hollow. The writing was compulsively readable and I finished in less than 24 hours but I think I wanted more from this narrative. more mess, more character perspectives, more crime and punishment esque cat & mouse games idk  i'll df be checking out more ofStilp the characters felt real enough and the sister bond was a great through line so I will likely check out her work in the future.
