What would you do if you were forced to choose between firing one of your three best friends? What if you were invited to Christmas with each of them? What if you were falling in love?
This was easily the best holiday themed book I read this year, as evidenced by the fact that it only took me two days. I adored the fact that this included a romance but was not solely focused on that aspect. While a little heightened, the friendships and stories felt grounded in truth. Each of the characters were distinct and I appreciated that despite developing romantic attraction with one, Maggie equally valued her relationships with all three men. It was a demonstration of the value of platonic love, even when held up to romantic love. I adored it!
This is a fun, silly, holiday romp with a lot of heart. It has some lightly described, mostly off page, spice which really appealed to me but may be a point against for some readers. However, I would encourage anyone looking for a feel good Christmas story with a solid romantic storyline to pick this book up. I will definitely be recommending it again next year.
