Locker Hero by Rachel Renée Russell
2.0
This book felt like it moved very slowly and didn't really go anywhere at all. I generally like this "Diary Of A Wimpy Kid" style book, but I didn't like this one all that much. Generally when I'm reading this kind of book, it tends to fly by and I am done reading it in a couple of days. This one took me weeks to finish because I was just so uninterested. There are a couple of funny parts, but not nearly as many as there should be. Max is a very likable character as well, but he is also kind of forgettable. He certainly doesn't stick with you like Greg Heffley does. The whole storyline was just a little unbelievable for me. It's hard to believe that he would get locked in his locker twice in such a short period of time by the same kid. The robbery storyline came out of nowhere and was completely unbelievable. It felt like it was just thrown in there to give Max something to do. The book ends on a cliffhanger, but even that wasn't enough to make me interested. I am probably not going to continue reading this book series.
