I love finding little gems like this. Nellie Bly was an early journalist who wrote based off experience. Her time at an asylum for women was valuable then & still remains valuable now. This book is really well written & well organized for as early as it was written & it is very straight to the point. I did the audio & the narrator, Laural Merlington does such a good job putting you right in the thick of things. This audio also had two small bonus stories of other times Bly insert herself into situations to get a good view on things.
