Godly Heathens is such a breath of fresh air. You don't realize how tired you get of the same old fae/romcom/etc. stories until you find a book that absolutely subverts all of those tropes.
QBIPOC rep. Mental illness rep. So much trans/nb rep, it's almost hard to keep everyone's pronouns straight. Poly rep. All mixed in with some absolutely dark and twisted reincarnated-gods-battling-to-the-death adventure. And that TWIST?! I'll admit, I saw part of it coming.. but definitely not like that.
Godly Heathens is phenomenal, full-stop. They say it's always harder to write reviews for books you loved, and that is so incredibly true in this case. I can't even begin to start describing the insanity in this book.. it's just one you have to discover for yourself.
