Rebel Bitten by Lexi C. Foss

3.0

I feel like this book is essentially in two parts. The first part is Willow being thrown into this world of vampires after being captured and put into the breeding camps. The second part is when Willow finds out that she is a hybrid. I liked that this book allowed me to see Willow reunite with Silas and Rae. I wish that there had been more scenes with them but I am glad that Willow and Silas had a beautiful moment.

Damien became a favorite because he was loyal and unlike the previous traitors of the other books. I think that there was a sense of respect throughout the book between all the characters. I do feel like Willow was quite weak and that her recovery from her trauma was essentially washed away rather quickly. Her memories were in a haze for the most part until she went into her transition to becoming a hybrid. Lilith's death was rather quick and surprisingly easy for Willow to do.

Overall, this book brought in most of the characters and moved the story forward. I am excited to see Jace's story unfold.
