OOF. This book was so emotionally difficult, but hugely important. Levings does not pull ANY punches in the details of the brutality of her life, and she guides you through it with grace despite the horrors. I was not entirely prepared for a lot of the emotions that came up through this book, so heed the trigger warnings. And have lots of tissues (and also a pet to snuggle) nearby.
