While this started out as a slow burn, there was quite a lot of character building that was necessary. Eventually, this led to feeling the story through Jane, all her mistakes, her dreams, her attempts at making things better. It left me both content and dissatisfied, but in a good way? That makes little sense in black and white, it’s the feeling that swells.
