This was a very interesting book, the subject matter was a bit odd (Audobon, birds, lions, safaris, etc) but it kept me reading. It sometimes got a little confusing and I had to go back and figure out who people were, but it was not too bad. There was some language, however. Now, they did totally leave me hanging in one peculiar part of the book. It was more of a side story, but it was almost more interesting than the main story. It had no conclusion, dang it! They say that this series does not need to be read consecutively, but I do wonder if this person is in the other books. I will have to check out another one and see.
