Honestly, when I realized this was similar to an actual history book I thought I wasn’t going to be into it. But right now I can sincerely say this has been my favorite from Martin so far. Not gonna lie, it may be because I love the Targaryens but gosh this was actual a great read and the illustrations are gorgeous!

The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the constant use of “expired” to refer to someone dying kept making me think of TikTok and kind of made me cringe multiple times
