ugh i just LOVE bourbon canyon so much. i love everything about the town. i love every person in it. and i just love walker’s books. rhys and june are everything. they are each others other halves. i love their dynamic and i really liked how june stood her ground near the end and made rhys figure his stuff out. june is such a ray of sunshine but in the most comforting way. she is full of so much love and life for music and for her family and those she loves. and rhys is such a great dad to his girls and honestly his hot mountain daddy nickname really says it all. he’s a grumpy single dad. yes he had things he needed to work out and yes he definitely needed to be a little selfish with his happiness but he was able to do that. i loved getting to see him get out of his own way and truly let himself have what he and june both deserved. i just love them. i love the girls. and i love bourbon canyon and can’t wait to read more.
