“Whether it’s wrong or right, I’m always going to want you with me.”
“I’m me, and I don’t back away from anybody.”
“The most enlightened experience in my life. This is nirvana.”
Please check content warnings! Tread carefully”
This was a wild ride of a read, this college for mafia kids is extremely tough as nails but so captivating due to the games, the classes, the different groups of mafia kids, and the general consensus of how far away they are from everything while at that school!
The plot and suspense surrounding Dean and Leo was so well done, both of them grew as people but in different ways and acceptances of their true nature! Dean was a tough villian and truly kept to his hatrid of Leo. I would have loved to give this a 5 star rating, but the dubious consent wasn’t needed to drive the story as much as I guess the author wanted it to be! Dean already had so much rage and anger that his schemes didn’t have to include dubious consent encounters.
I loved Leo and Anna as friends to lovers, they are extremely so cute and fluffy characters with one another! I was a bit frustrated with their miscommunication and i was begging them to talk but they needed to grow separately and come back together stronger than ever. Both of their growth was stellar and it shows they truly are lovers for life! This was still an entertaining and high stakes read that I enjoyed a lot!
