This book is an absolute must read. Vanity and morality have not, as far as I'm aware, been so beautifully and hauntingly examined as they are here. Wilde writes in a beautiful and engaging way. I have never been so engrossed in a classic literature work before, but I sat at the edge of my seat flipping every page, unable to do much more. It started off a bit slow but quickly became irresistible.
