Complicated by Kristen Ashley

5.0

Every time I start a Kristen Ashley book, I get a little nervous. Will this be the book that disappoints?! I'm happy to say that it wasn't! As with all of her other books, the author had me hooked from page 1 of the story. This novel is a tad different from some of her more recent books, but it's still very much a character driven story. Which is, of course, the reason I adore this author's stories. The characters and their multiple plot lines were woven together in such a way as to keep me invested in the story well beyond the last page. I borrowed the ebook from my local library, via Overdrive, but will be purchasing a print copy of Complicated for my keeper shelves. This story is definitely worthy of a second (third, fourth...) read.
