I really enjoyed this! I got this for free this month from the Prime Kindle Lending Library, and it was defintiely worth it. :)

Short, but it felt like a very complete story. I really liked the twist on the Jack & The Beanstalk fairy tale, and the connection between Rion & Jack was great. Very interesting the concept of Jack's devilish red hair, and Rion's lonely existence in the clouds.

I did think that the prisioner part at the beginning was a little lengthy, as was their explosions of anger. It didn't really feel like them. Plus, it did seem that their relationship escalated a little more quickly than I would have liked, but part of that is probably due to the length of the story.

Overall, an enjoyable read, and definitely one I would recommend.
