Man, the ending of this book made me absolutely SOB.  The grief that they were dealing with just absolutely spoke to my soul.  The Coldest Winter took you on a journey of trying to find love & happiness again while feeling like you can't even put one foot forward.  Star & Milo found each other in times of their lives where they were both struggling. I loved how supportive Star was. She was literally everything Milo needed to come alive again.  They were so good together.  This book was just so emotional but absolutely wonderful too. Also, I absolutely adored Star's dad, Eric.  I loved how he treated Milo. He's just such a good, good man. Also, it made me miss my dad. 💜
