I have loved every book that I have read by this duo. That is all of the ones in which they take us further into the lives of Aloyisius Pendergast, Vinnie D'Agosta and their friends.Having said that, this one kinda had me scratching my head and saying huh? It was a bit overt the top and I am a big fan of suspending belief.....with out giving anything away, I can say this plot was hard to believe.I did enjoy the characters as usual and of course the end leads us to believe that dear SA Pendergast finds himself in dire circumstances yet again.I am just not sure if I will pick up the next one, or not.I read somewhere that they started a new series, it seems as if they phoned this one in, to concentrate on the new ones.....I hope that is not the case.
