I adore the cruel Prince series with all my heart. I was so excited for this book, I've been waiting months to borrow it from my library and I honestly regret it. 

Getting to 123 pages felt like a chore. I honestly don't care for the characters and story, even the writing is just stale. How Holly Black went from writing the Cruel Prince to this I will never understand, as it is missing all it's charm, intrigue, and stunning characters. 

Overall, it's a huge letdown.
