Super fun premise where you have a confident, aspiring thief teen following in her mums footsteps who gets offered a place in a ‘game show for thieves’-esque competition. I can’t really tell you much more than that unfortunately. Although the premise was fun, the book lacked the gusto I wanted in a read right now. 

Despite this, Thieves Gambit is definitely a book that I can see being entertaining down the line and is something I would recommend to someone who likes heist-based YA books. 

Unfortunately this just felt like the wrong book for me right now. 

This is potentially a soft DNF - I may be back!
