I struggled a little bit with this book just because of one mistake that happened in the beginning that really stuck with me. As someone who has a STEM job and has worked in the lab- someone drinking out of a beaker is something that is never done! It frustrated me so much it took me out!
So while I LOVE the character of Marco some of the stuff Anna did was just too irritating. And I also struggled with her being in “love” with someone that is clearly so not worth it. I know that can be the real world but just bugged me a bit.
But the slow burn between the two was great and had a lovely payoff!
1/2 a pepper for some making out and references of more
