The book is an ok read. I’ve never been a fan of college novels, especially when the protagonist is male, but I thought the parallel worlds would make it different and interesting. It did not.

The main character is just so annoying! One of those archetypical guys who is 2 steps away from being an incel because they refuse to simply take action and stop blaming others. I’d honestly prefer a book about Ozu instead, at least he was 3 dimensional.

I’m wondering if the book was actually that bland or maybe things were lost in translation. Either way, it was an ok read but wouldn’t recommend.
