Omg did i fall in love with May and Rafael yes yes I did. Did I have a ride of emotions yes yes I did. But can I just say how so enemies to lovers this book was omg the tension the hate the hate s*x oof that was hot. But May is this girl who was taught by her mom that men aren't reliable and that they will leave like her own dad did when she was a baby and that can hurt and kind of impact you for your future life going on and future relationships as it did with May and Rafael. Her father left her mother and that put a perfect foundation for distrusting men. Rafael has suffered a lot of grief and loss when it came to losing both his mama and papa and then later on his nana who was the one to teach him how to cook and it was the one thing he loved and then felt lost And then when he needed his sister she left him all alone. He Lived alone and was missing family, the loss of his parents and nana and even sister not dead just ran away after her nana funeral. It was like two broken people hating on each other but falling in love to try to help heal each other or how Rafael tells May to trust him and Rafael do and show her that she can trust him. Yes does May break his heart sometimes and runs away yes but that would happen to someone who has been in May shoes and once you read about you will understand and like in life yes books are fiction but like in life not every relationship is going to be perfect and that is okay and it is okay if book also show those hardships. On another note can we talk about Rafael's dirty mouth. Like dam Rafael this man has a dirty mouth where can I find myself one but Oh my this book has it all for me and i am kinda excited to see who is next i even wrote out who could be this the list: Book 1: Isla and Ciao Book 2: May and Rafael Marina and Miles Marisol and Leo Heath and ?
