One of my all-time favorite dark, spicy reads! 🌶️
Logan is a white knight, out to catch killers and save lives. Lana is a serial killer, hell-bent on revenge. And Logan doesn't know that Lana is the killer he's looking for. All he knows is that he loves her.
If you enjoyed the dark, serial-killer storyline of Butcher & Blackbird, you'll love the Mindf*ck series by S.T. Abby! But be warned: where B&B had banter and humor, the Mindf*ck series just has darkness.
Lana's motivations for killing run deep. She was betrayed by the town, left for dead ten years ago. And now she's back, and ready to enact her own sense of justice on those who were involved. Logan is just trying to catch the killer.. and doesn't realize that the very killer he's looking for is the woman he fell in love with.
The Dexter-esque vibes are fantastic. This is a much darker, more graphic story than the B&B series. There were multiple moments where I had to stop and take a break.. but oh my gosh, I loved every single minute of this series. I read it via KU when I first joined Bookstagram, and it's high on my list of books I need a shelf-trophy for.
