Crucible of Fate by Mary Calmes
3.0
Update
I read in other reviews that Jin actually appeared in the second half of this book so I persevered and skimmed over the annoying repetition and the second half of the book was much better. So I upped my rating to three stars.
DNF @ 30%
I liked the other books in the series. But after reading the previous books this one was just a constant rehashing of everything that had already happened (in the guise of conversation between characters) and re-explaining ad nauseum what was going on, what terms meant etc. There was very little in the way of actual romance in this one at least the first 30% and I just couldn’t bear to keep reading about the same stuff I already knew; it was so boring.
