This book was a lot of fun and I did genuinely enjoy it. I think there were some plot points that felt unbelievable and a bit cringe inducing but as it went on they either got funnier or I became acclimated and successfully suspended my disbelief. I do think this was a really cute couple, they were funny and they had their spicy moments. Since I've been reading more romance this year I'm getting a little tired of the third act breakup, but I know its a convention of the genre. Since this book had an outside villian in the form of the brides father, I think that plot point brought enough drama even without the main couples miscommunication. Also the brides dad and his plotting gave me Logan Roy from Succession vibes and I loathed him all the way through. I was happy with the conclusion to that plot point. I think the epilogue was unnecessary as well. It's purpose felt like it was to introduce us, or maybe cameo (idk I haven't read anything else by this author) new characters at the last hour. All in all, I did find it to be enjoyable with a couple exceptions here and there.
