I had to wait for this volume to come out, so I started the anime, and am mostly caught up between the two. I think I like the anime a little more than the manga, only because the pacing and the type of visuals work better for an anime than it does in the manga (for me).

Part of me does keep forgetting how old Chise is supposed to be. She's more naive than most 16-year-olds, but the way she's drawn she has very haunted eyes, so she sometimes looks closer to her mid-20s.
I liked this arc because it gave Elias a chance to learn more about himself and show how childlike his mind can be at times when it comes to understanding emotions. Ashen-eye is a jerk, and I hate her.
I don't like that she's working with Joseph. Nothing good is going to come from that.
