The Girls I've Been by Tess Sharpe
4.0
Oof that had an impactful ending. The whole book itself was suckerpunch glory. Nora's story of survival through her mother and the life she was forced to live is utterly shocking. Groomed to be a con artist, Nora is exposed to all kinds of abuse and trauma. This book really exposes what it can be like for children who grow up this way and that they can break free.
