This book felt kinda Anne-of-Green-Gables-y but in a very very good way and I loved Rose's character so much. Honestly the entire vibe was wonderful! Warning that there is definitely some period typical racism present against Asians but more in the description than in actual events. Beyond that it was a fun little read and I'm totally going to be reading Rose in Bloom after this.
