i wanted to like this book so bad because its got everything i love and the prologue was so good... the writing isnt my style though and the main character's "big secret" gets basically revealed 50pgs in and thats when it was over for me.

the pacing was off and theres also literally no exposition which is also the issue i have with gideon the 9th so i was dubious when i saw tasmyn muir or whatever on the jacket of this one. LESSON LEARNED.
