It was a good time but me being able to guess what's next dimmed the enjoyment. Maybe because it's more new adult, grim but still palatable, and not too hard to follow? 
At times I also felt like I was reading the previous trilogy, so many similarities in plot and the main characters. 
The thing I've liked best is that it's distinctly nordic.
