🥃 Book One in the Love & Whiskey series

Blurb: Anastasia Kingston-Webb wants to take over the liquor company that her father built from the ground up. The only problem is her father doesn’t want the next CEO to be as wrapped up in work as he has been. He wasn’t a “family man or woman”. The only problem with that? Anastasia is as single as a Pringle and has no desire to settle down. Similarly, COO, Julian, also wants the promotion to CEO, but he’s also single and not the family man that he is looking for. A fake engagement is just what they need, until they realize they are each others competition for the CEO position….

Thoughts: I loved this book. It had the SPICE, the laughs, and there was NO THIRD ACT BREAKUP 👏🏼. I LOVED that Julian fell so hard and fast for Anastasia and that he worked so hard to be patient and show her that they could work. @authornikkiash has quickly become an “if she writes it I’m gonna read it” author for me and I’m definitely not mad about it.

THANK YOU @authornikkiash and @theauthor.agency for the advanced reader copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

🙅‍♀️ NO Third-Act Break-up!

1️⃣ Jenn McMahon's Debut Novel!

Honestly I LOVED this! I listened to it in one day and could not get enough. Single Dad and Nanny are tropes that always get me but there was so much in this book to love. The FRIENDS references, the nods to other books, the female main character, Peyton, reading books. SO SO SO much to love! I definitely didn't tear up at the ending (JK I TOTALLY TOTALLY DID!)

Super solid debut novel and no third-act breakup was absolutely GLORIOUS! Can't wait to read books 2 and 3!

This is a prequel novella for the Rival Hearts series and I FLEW through it! It was SPICY, fun, and a really engaging read. I loved being able to meet some of the characters and learn a bit of their backstory before really diving into the series.

This was the first book that I read from Maggie Rawdon and certainly will not be my last!
