I got to about 66 pages in before debating if I wanted to finish this book. I was completely caught off guard by how gory this book was going to be. Having read the Cat and Mouse duet first I knew Sibby was crazy and violent but...wow. I did like that we were given some insight into Sibby's backstory and life in the cult but I enjoyed the story much more after Sibby meets Zade and the perspective after she takes the fall for the murders.
