Incredible. Fear of death combined with overconsumption is such a timeless combination.

Incredible. This series can only be compared to a piece of art. What an emotional ending, everything coming together so heartfelt and reflective. I don't even really know what to say. Every character is so deeply complex and
they become such a reflection of themselves by the end.
The narrative in this series is so tightly written it feels like every word is placed with purpose. There's always new things to discover and think on after rereading. I can't wait to read absolution, this series will always be my number one.

I'm from Ohio and loved this. Some parts of this felt like it was ripped directly from my thoughts. So interesting.

Liked this a lot! Especially the wetland setting, the native perspective and the dispossession the main character feels, and the themes of grief. I think because this was my breakroom book and I only read it in short bursts that I just didn't connect with it as much as I could. The first half didn't really pull me in but once she got to the cabin, I was hooked! That imagery and transformative weird horror is my jam and I really enjoyed it.
