Queer, gun fighting Aliens in spaceships. What more could I ask for tbh. 

I loved the focus on the growth of a reluctant friendship between Rig and Cactus. I loved the vivid imagery and the fast paced action scenes. 

There were some slow areas in the middle but overall, I absolutely loved this to bits.

I'm glad I never bought this when I was in the very height of my Firefly fixation
considering I now know that Joss Whedon is a PoS.
I dunno. I love Shepherd Book and I liked finally getting to see his past- this definitely answered a lot of questions- but it was so short and it felt rushed. I feel like Book deserved so much better than this. Like a full novel or something. All we get are tiny glimpses of history and like I get that it's supposed to be like snapshots buuuuut I think it was a bit shitty.

I did like the art style and I loved the plot twist but yeah I just feel like overall this was a bit meh.

This was incredible. A fast and deeply gripping read. I couldn’t put it down even for a second and the imagery the author created was so vivid! I’d love to read more from this author!
