The firsthand experiences of some of the tragedies witnessed during her as first lady were heartbreaking. The use of her voice to champion those who are often overlook in this book inspiring. However, there were parts of this book I found a little slow and repetitive. However, Michelle Obama continues to be an incredible inspiration and force to be reckon with in my eyes.

This book was addictive, fun, sad and a little bit infuriating at times. If you have ever been inexplicably drawn to someone but things never seen to work out right, it will hit a little harder but leave you hopeful at the end.
