Meh. I’m gonna read a different book for the Indonesia read the world challenge prompt. This was mildly annoying and also felt not really accurate for the age of the characters? Idk it was fine but I won’t be recommending it to anyone.
The Big Time: How the 1970s Transformed Sports in America by Michael MacCambridge

Did not finish book. Stopped at 11%.
Mainly I don’t like the way this guy writes, I find it a bit hard to follow. Secondly this is more for super avid fans, people that know the scores, watched the games (probably during the 70s), are obsessed with the players and coaches, which is definitely not me. I’m familiar with a lot of it but in more general sports talk. I haven’t seen any of these games, I know of some of these players, but I’m too young to have cared that much about the 70s.

I think the art is great but it doesn’t really serve the story and the story itself is a bit lacklustre anyway so the combo makes the whole thing a bit underwhelming and at times hard to follow. But I like the concept.

There’s no teeth on this one. Like it needs more development in every way.

Turns out I don’t have that much of a phone addiction but it has helped push me to make some changes I’d been wanting to make for a while.

I believe in women’s WRONGS.
I really enjoyed this. It’s like resting in my souls and I feel replenished as a result. Good book.
