It wasn't for me. But I'm on hold for the next book in the series anyways.

I read this on the treadmill at planet fitness. It was beautiful and heart wrenching and mysterious and fun and funny and I already know it'll be one of my top books in 2025.
Incredibly done. Thank you to my local librarian Krista for the rec!
I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy

I would not say that this book was "impressively funny," as is stated by the cover, but I would say that I, too, am glad her mom died. This was an uncomfortable listen. Very well written, and McCurdy's Miranda Cosgrove impression is impeccably done, but truly such a sad story. The candor and bravery exhibited throughout it was beautiful, and I am grateful this is out. It is a raw look at the secret life of someone who impacted my childhood and countless others. A tragedy. 9/10. Wouldn't really recommend.
