This is a duel-perspective narrative that is BRILLIANTLY told. I loved how the author used unique language in the perspective of each character to incite differing images of the story.

I would agree with the overall themes and ideas in this book about the trajectory of modern civilization, but I found the philosophy to be somewhat sloppy. Additionally, there seem to be self-contradicting points, especially toward the end, as well as outdated (if not fictionalized) takes on religion and ancient pre-history civilization.
