This book was one of those interlude kind of volumes from the novel.
It didn't add much to the plot, but I appreciated a lot how it focused on side characters and their inner thoughts. Joka's and Junjie's were my favorite chapters. I love those two.
PS: how enraged I am!! Make Ene'n and Yao a couple for once!!

It's just the first book, so I don't have a full opinion about it. The prose is unique and wonderful. Some people say it's way too sexual, but I think the main cw is the overly description of food. Don't read if you're hungry.

Alright, I'll be honest here. This is a parody of the genre, which means the plot isn't precisely juicy or anything too elaborated. But it's still one of the best within Isekai genre, if you let me.
It's a breeze of a reading, mostly funny and lighthearted. The author knows when to be serious and when to give bits of angst. She plays very well with the trope in all the possible ways and explores its possibilities. I'm surprised that she wrote it in her teens.
Just... Beware, if you're not comfortable with Master/Slave dynamics, masochism, torture kink, slightly erotic minor-adult interactions, gore, and a huge age gap in relationships, well... Just turn around

There's a point where the author starts talking to the audience as if one were not smart enough to understand certain concepts and it can get reiterative

I love almost every arc of this story, but there are some characters from past arcs that I'll forever miss.

There are some topics that could have been discussed better and there's some incomplete and incoherent information. But it was overall a good read.
