This book was so cathartic for me to read, I put off reading it for so long but I’m so glad I finally picked it up.

I loved the found family Ari got, I loved the autism and selective mutism representation in this book and how big of a role that played in Ari’s journey.

I listened to this audiobook via libro.fm, I found it quite fascinating and enlightening in a way.  The way the poet brings up sexism, racism and history among other topics.  I quite liked the pop culture references brought up in there as well.  I would definitely go back and read this book again.
