This was actually an amazing read icl. I started it some days ago, completed 9% of it, then picked it up again yesterday and finished it early this afternoon. Wonderful stuff. 10/10 would recommend

the plot twist towards the end where they revoked their earlier statement and said that there could only be one winner fr
. But it was a wonderful book overall

I'm clearly not the intended audience for this book. I found it very boring and very try-hard like with the wording and flow. Also it is rather confusing.

It was a fun read honestly. My major gripe is the way Michael Crichton writes his female characters. Sarah Harding was my favourite character and I found her quite admirable and relatable in some ways, but what was that cringe line in page 328? 😭

"You're very strong," Malcolm said.
"But still feminine," she said, grimly.


BUT STILL FEMININE???
💀 WHO EVEN SAYS THAT?? 😭 If it wasn't clear that a man wrote this book, it's clear asf now 😭💀

Rather average read tbh. But I honestly didn't expect the
room to be full of the bodies of his ex-wixes
or
that she'd be saved
. 

Also, the ending wasn't to my taste. It was so fairytale-esque like nooooo, give me angst because that's the only realistic outcome here. But then again, it's a story for 6 year olds so what was I really expecting?
