I loved the interactions between CJ and Sebastian. Their chemistry together was delicious. Bash’s internal struggle between what he knows is true versus what he pretends in order to hide the scared man behind intimidation was addicting.

You can tell he doesn’t feel good enough for CJ, but he wont stand her being with anyone else either. I read this book in one sitting and the only disappointment I have is we get no answers in this first book.

I’ve read several of this Author and for me they always deliver. I tend to read super dark and this series is always a great palate cleanser for me. Just the right amount of mystery and an amazing amount of angst and the main characters are not just pushovers who fall for a good face and hard body.
