I now realized I also like a good fantasy that doesn't require me to think so much, it just tells a story. The road leading to the end is full of tension, this left me hanging for more...! If you like complicated and detailed lore for fantasy types you may find this lacking. But I will still read Onyx Storm when it comes out! Curious to know how this series will end...

This is...funny, unrelatable but yes it entertained me in its own way. I learned a lot about horses and corporations more than second chances...thanks!

Time well spent reading Yarros' tale of dragon riders and enemies to lovers. I enjoyed it, I devoured it! Now onto Book 2!

Filled with characters that felt real, raw, and honest. I admire Abby Jimenez for consulting mental health professionals during the process of writing this book. It all made a grand difference. Romance well done!

Coco Mellors' writing captivated me once more with her latest band of Blue Sisters. I like the story but love her debut novel better. This book is a real character sketch of sisterhood, complex family dynamics, grief, and being lost and confused in many stages of life (totally normal to experience that). Amazing writer she is.

Richard Swan wrote an epic ending on his Empire. I screamed, I teared up, I was scared many times... Incredible writing! I wish he'd write more about this world in the coming years. My first grim dark read and it did not disappoint.
