This was the perfect read for Christmas Day! It was sweet, spicy, and delightful.

I felt like Rilzy Adams perfectly captured the chemistry between Cosima and Tristan. They were both tender with each other while definitely also being intense. I felt like all their interactions flowed so naturally.

It was a true joy to read this! I easily could have kept reading more about these two. Even with such a short novella, it truly felt like they had lives outside of the confines of the story being told. Rilzy Adams truly is iconic šŸ’–

I would highly recommend picking this up for a quick and easy holiday read!

Chuck Tingle is an icon, and this is exactly the chaotic energy I wanted for an xmas read šŸŽ„šŸ˜‚šŸŽ„

As always, thereā€™s not much to say about his work. Itā€™s chaotic. It doesnā€™t make much sense. It makes me laugh so hard tho!

I generally was happy with both the snowman story and the story about the dice. They were unhinged, and they were both super meta. Again, hilarious.

Y vendrĆ”n cosas peores dice la biblia šŸ˜

The way this volume ripped out my heart and stomped all over it šŸ˜ Who gave AidaIro the right to destroy me like this? JAIL. STRAIGHT TO JAIL.

Not only was Hanako right about what happened to Aoiā€¦but he legit sacrificed so much just so Yashiro would have a longer life šŸ˜šŸ”« What am I supposed to do with this PAIN?

And then we have Kou and Yashiro interacting with Mitsubaā€™s mom. Likeā€¦The fuck? Learning how Mitsuba died was heartbreaking. Why am I being hurt this way?

The cherry on fucking top is that little kid at the end of the volume that looks like baby Hanako šŸ„ŗ This is the stuff of nightmares and designed to torture. I don't care if that child is meant to be some fucked up version of Amane or Tsukasa. Heā€™s gonna break my heart regardless. Who will comfort me in my suffering? šŸ˜©

10/10 would recommend

This volume definitely pulled at my heartstrings šŸ„ŗ I refuse to accept both of the important things Hanako said at the end of this volume. I REFUSE.

As for more particulars about this volume, I enjoyed exploring the dynamic between Sumire and No. 6. They have a heartbreaking dynamic that is hard to sort if itā€™s one-sided or not.

It was also interesting to explore more deeply the relationship between Akane and Aoi. Their friendship has lasted for so long, but thereā€™s also so much weighted tension between them. It truly does make it hard to parse if they love or hate each other. Itā€™s the type of strong bond that leads to strong feelings (whether positive or negative).

In general, I enjoyed this volume a lot more than the previous one!

This volume wasā€¦fine. It wasnā€™t amazing, but it wasnā€™t terrible. I can never truly hate a Hanako volume, but this one just didnā€™t do much for me.

I do have to say that I like No. 6 character design! Itā€™s pretty and creepy. Definitely fits the vibe.

I also enjoyed the part where Aoi totally outs Yashiroā€™s feelings for Hanako, and then Yashiro has to downplay it šŸ˜‚ That was fun.

Thatā€™s pretty much it tbh

I ADORE SHINOMIYA AND MITSUKI. They make my heart feel so warm and soft šŸ˜

Tbh, the only reason this is getting 4šŸŒŸ and not a higher rating is because the first half of this volume got on my nerves because of Saeki. Saeki is cute in his own way, but I didnā€™t need him being a pest and menace to society. He needed to back the fuck off šŸ˜© Go devote your fiery feelings to someone who is willing and open to receive them.

Anyway. Saeki, as the true menace that he is, now has me rooting for a poly option. Out here with the fortune teller telling him heā€™s hella compatible with Shinomiya, and Saeki is just like ā€œBet. If yā€™all ever break up, Iā€™m stealing one of you.ā€ GO AWAY, SIR. LEAVE ME AND MY HETEROS ALONE. I WANT PEACE. I DONā€™T WANT TO BE DRAGGED TO THE HELL OF MY OWN MAKING: DREAMS OF POLY RELATIONSHIPS.

*clears throat*

Returning to my beloved heteros. Absolutely living for the fact that Shinomiya and Mitsuki were finally able to talk about some of the tensions in their relationship šŸ™šŸ¼ I wanted to cheer them on as they finally got down and dirty šŸ’–šŸ˜šŸ’– I live and breathe for them. Shinomiya is so cute and sweet, and Mitsuki is also adorable and iconic. I want happiness for them so bad.

All in all, canā€™t wait to get to volume 6 WHERE THEY ARE IN WEDDING ATTIRE. I NEED IT LIKE I NEED BREATH!

I need yā€™all to understand that I did, in fact, start writing a review for this closer to when I finished reading itā€¦but then this app crashedā€¦and it was lost to the ether.

Regardless, Iā€™m definitely vibing with this series. The second book in this series definitely gripped me because I read it in only a day šŸ˜‚ Couldnā€™t help it.

Although not all the kinks here are for me (the stapling scene wasā€¦a bit muchā€¦for me), I still vibe with it. I just live for these monsters going at it and then going to their regular office job šŸ˜‚ Absolute legends

P.S. The cameos of Inferna are what I live and breathe for. Sheā€™s Mommy.

The way I forgot to write a review for this volume šŸ§šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

I couldnā€™t express my thoughts and feelings now if I tried. I just need yā€™all to know that Yoshiki and Hikaru are my CHILDREN, and I would RISK LIFE AND LIMB for them.

Ugh. Canā€™t wait to see where this series goes! Itā€™s been incredible so far. The spooky vibes are immaculate. The queer vibes are excellent. Itā€™s all just šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼ Quality content.

Megumi and Tsugumi are so horny in this volume šŸ˜‚ Absolute horndogs. Absolute chaos.

I do have to admit that I lowkey liked the drama with Inamiā€¦or whatever his name is. Iā€™m weak for his character design šŸ˜‚ But heā€™s a menace to society. He needs to stay away from Tsugumi!! Tsugumi belongs with Megumi, and no one should get in the way of that šŸ”Ŗ

Anyway. I donā€™t have much else to say about this volume. Like last time, I loved learning more about Kuroji and Harutsuguā€™s backstory. Another pair of dumb dumbs that I adore šŸ’–
