I just feel like I wanted more. I wanted to know more about why he really blamed himself about Belinda’s death, what he did with Bambi’s panties, and
why the hell the story jumped from him asking her to move in to boom 8 years later and yall are married with a kid.
I know this was supposed to be cute, which it had it’s moments, but the ending felt rushed. Aside from that the slow burn was nice. They didn’t get intimate until about 60% in which I liked because you could feel the tension building up, and the wait was worth it.

I would’ve given it 6 stars if she would’ve let her beat Stephanie’s ass fr! But this was an adorable story, where Callie got everything she needed and deserved. I loved Thane for her. Thank you for no third act drama!!

The only reason this was not 5 stars I because I hated her mom Rupa for majority of the book, I wasn’t too fond of this white woman (Aunt Trish) that they claimed was more Indian than them because she knew so much about their culture and language. She is white, not Indian.
lastly I understand why she chose to marry herself but that process has just never made sense to me. I would just call it a commitment ceremony to show your love for yourself.
