Brings up very interesting questions about ethics in the realm of science, and really interesting to learn about life under Mao. Nick’s section dragged for me though and it was hard to regain momentum.

Really smart, well written book satirizing the broken criminal justice system but painful to spend time in this world that seems too potentially real.

I didn't really know what I was going into but this was such an interesting journey into women's bodies and the relationship between a mother and her children as they grow up. Really nice to see what to look forward to with children growing up and entering different phases. Funny dialogue almost to the line of unbelievable, but well-developed and real-feeling characters and loved the Cape setting.
