This book started off really slow for me but it eventually got better and I was hooked until the ending. Never really cried from reading a book and yeah this book made me cry.

Wow, what can I say, reading my first ever Colleen Hoover book and let me tell you, it didn't disappoint. I love every single part of this book, the characters, the plot, the writing style. It was such a phenomenal read, it definitely deserves the hype it's getting. Aside from how great this book is, this was so refreshing, the kilig that it gave me while reading this book was on a whole different level. Gave it 5 stars and would absolutely recommend it to everyone from now on. But before you pick this up, let me remind you that this book tackles with abusive relationships, rape, gaslighting etc., just be wary of the content warnings.

" Letting go isn’t about forgetting. It’s balancing moving forward with life, and looking back from time to time, remembering the people in it.”

Let me start off with, what a great read to start this year! I really enjoyed reading this book. The plot is pretty straightforward and the characters are okay. I felt like there's something missing throughout the book, especially the characters. I guess for me, it just lacked that wow factor, but don't get me wrong, this is a decent book and a decent read. What made this book such a good reading experience is the way it depicted grief and how Julie manages it. My favorite part of the book would definitely be the ending, since it broke me. So if you want to read it give it a try it's a sad book though so prepare your tissues. Gave it a 4-star rating.
