Tantalizing. Mysterious.
I was intrigued from the very first page. Jiffy Kate know how to write and create books where you live in the books. You experience New Orleans as you are reading. The French Quarter is on my travel bucket list because of JK books. In this book you meet Avery and Shaw. Avery has a life altering experience that shocks you. She then begins her journey to healing. Along that journey she meets the mysterious Shaw O’Sullivan. Shaw is bearded. Tattooed. Sexy. He is broken. What a journey Shaw and Avery go on. Such a fantastic book!! I also love the characters from previous books. You will want to move to New Orleans.

2.5* rounded up.
I love this writing duo, and I love New Orleans, so I really wanted to like this one, but it was just eh. It just dragged so badly for me. At multiple points I thought it was building to a conclusion then I'd look and I was no where near done. The length itself wasn't the issue, there was just too much filler and they spent too long tying up storylines that didn't need that much attention. This would have been a LOT better with a little more editing and like 100 fewer pages.
I also just didn't feel the chemistry between the two main characters. I liked the characters and didn't have a problem with them as a couple (despite the age difference), they just didn't wow me. I was invested in their relationship solely because I liked the characters and wanted them to be happy - not because I was actually invested in the relationship itself.
Obviously, I just wasn't feeling this one, but that's ok. It won't stop me from continuing on with the series or reading other books from jiffy Kate.

Finding Happiness in the Darkness
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Both characters work through tragedy to find love in the world again. Inspiring and hopeful (and sexy). A wonderful reminder that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and we can all find joy again after the darkest of times.

Normally, when Jiffy Kate publishes a book, I jump into it, ignore life and don't get up until I'm finished. But Come Again, its newest release, its meant to be savored. Page by page, the story of Shaw O'Sullivan, a hot AF, asshole yet big hart owner of the local Come Again bar and Avery Cole, sweet, young and adorable, consumed me.
It's probably the best slow-paced romance I've read this year. This second chance story is perfect, even when the characters' circumstances were not. It touches elegantly some hard topics and it made me reflect on fears and long buried emotions. But it also made me hungry (the food descriptions are so good), laugh, swoon and gave a severe case of wanderlust. As always, Jiffy Kate's settings were so vivid that I almost felt I was in New Orleans, except for the fact that when I looked outside it was raining and the foggy and cold winter just got here!
I thought the age gap between Shaw and Avery might be an issue but, trust me when I say, that by the end of the book it will not matter. I utterly fell in love with them. One of the treats of this book was catching up with the characters of Turn Again (formerly titled The Other One). The thing I like the most about the wicked talented writing duo Jiffy Kate is that, by the end of each book, the characters feel like family.
So, if you are new to Jiffy Kate and are not sure where to start... jump into this book. I guarantee that you will end up binge reading their work and asking for more.

3.5- I really enjoyed this book. Even though it was sort of long it still didn't bother me much like other books do. I would have given a higher rating but the H being a widow and losing his great love was a lot. I obviously have no idea how that feels and I really felt for him but it made it hard at times to want them to be a couple.

When Jiffy Kate say that they have a new book coming out, it is immediately a no brainer that I will one-click the book and completely devour it. No. Questions. Asked. Come Again is another knock it out of the park for me.

A dark, secret past ✔️
Shaw O’Sullivan is the type of hero that will enter the depths of your dreams and seize complete control of them. Believe me ladies, you’ll be begging him for it!
YET! I feel to compelled to say that Come Again is SO MUCH MORE then what I ever expected or thought that it would be. Come Again holds a special place in my Jiffy Kate heart, this story feels special, personal. It wasn’t just another second chance romance. It has so much heart to it. The feelings are so overwhelming. I felt like Jiffy Kate really poured themselves into the pages. It shot straight to my heart and I felt like Jiffy Kate was writing and speaking directly their readers. Don’t be caught off guard if you feel like you are reaching for the tissues. 😉 I’ll leave you on that note.
Just go pick up the book. What are doing sitting here reading my review when you could be reading Come Again by Jiffy Kate?

This was just fantastic. I have listened to Blue Bayou and Come Again and I LOVE these characters and the narrators. I haven’t read anything else by these guys but these two books have been so charming and will correct that! Thank you for such entertainment!
