this book is one of the sweetest and deepest story you will ever read. I connected too much with the characters because I know the struggles you face when you lose a parent.

Man, the ending of this book made me absolutely SOB.  The grief that they were dealing with just absolutely spoke to my soul.  The Coldest Winter took you on a journey of trying to find love & happiness again while feeling like you can't even put one foot forward.  Star & Milo found each other in times of their lives where they were both struggling. I loved how supportive Star was. She was literally everything Milo needed to come alive again.  They were so good together.  This book was just so emotional but absolutely wonderful too. Also, I absolutely adored Star's dad, Eric.  I loved how he treated Milo. He's just such a good, good man. Also, it made me miss my dad. 💜

This was so beautiful! I’m at a loss for words..

~Both needed a distraction from their lives. One night together was all it could be. That all changes on Starlet’s first day as a student teacher when she finds her one night stand in her class. Only there’s more to Milo than meets the eye and she’s starting to see right through him.~

I loved these two. I went into this completely blind so I was in shock to find out he’s younger than her! The way they run into each other after their one night.. I would’ve died on the spot if I was Starlet.

Well, Brittainy Cherry has done it. She has written the book that will definitely be in my top 2 reads of the year, if not my top read.

I’ve read a lot of good books this year, but The Coldest Winter grabbed me and would not let me go. I laughed, I cried, I cheered for these characters. Milo and Starlet….each going thru things in their lives. But they find each other at the best timing. I’m a firm believer I’m not giving too much away in my reviews, but these characters are all likeable. Even Milo’s dad….just give him time.
