If you’re looking for a nice batch of fluff to read, this is it. All the books in Laurie Gilmore’s Dream Harbor series are quite fluffy with similar storylines and a moderate amount of spice. Largely unrealistic plot points, but happy, cozy, low-stakes small town living that’s pleasant to read about. Nothing life-changing, but in our current societal chaos, it’s a nice escape. (It can also provide a nice, syrupy-sweet balance if you tend to read multiple things at a time! I read this alongside Onyx Storm, & when that one got too intense or confusing, it was nice to visit The Christmas Tree Farm for a few chapters. 😜)

Not as good at the Pumpkin Spice Cafe, but still a cute story! The spice is 👌. Loved the main characters ❤️

Incredibly sweet, charming book. A bit slow at times but had a satisfying ending.

Dit deel is al stukken beter dan deel 2! Na deel 2 wilde ik eigenlijk stoppen met de serie, maar omdat ik zulke goede verhalen hoorde ben ik toch verder gegaan. 

Dit boek is, net als haar voorgangers, net een cheesy Hallmark film maar dan met spice. Ik moet zeggen dat ik dit boek eerder verfilmd zie worden dan Het Pumkin Spice Café. Ook zit er veel meer chemistry tussen de hoofdpersonages dan in de andere twee boeken. De opbouw naar de spice is stukken beter.

Ik ben heel erg benieuwd wat Laurie gaat doen voor boek 4.

Dual POV, a little spicy, slower burn than the previous two books. 

I loved this! The first two books in the series were a little insta-lusty, but this one really worked for me. They don’t even kiss until the 50% mark. Kira and Bennett are such cuties. I adore the MMC. 

Kira has bought the run down Christmas Tree Farm in town. She’s a former rich girl who is starting over. Bennett is visiting his sister for the holidays and gets sent by the town to “investigate” the rumors about what the previous owner may or may not have left buried at the farm. She’s grumpy, he’s sunshine. 

I’m excited for the next 2 books coming this year in this series.
